MECE, Inc. (Methodist Early Childhood Education) is a community outreach program of the
First United Methodist Church operating Monday through Friday in the Life Enrichment Center.
The school serves 130 children aged two through Kingergarten. The traditional program
is from 9:00am to noon. Additional services available to registered children include:
- Early drop-off: 8:15am
- Lunch Bunch: noon - 2:00pm
- Kindergarten: 9:00am - 2:00pm
MECE strives to help each child grow emotionally, socially, intellectually, and
spiritually by providing a wide range of hands-on activities and experiences. Each
class has a teacher and an assistant. Class sizes are:
- Twos: 8 children
- Threes: 14 children
- Fours: 16 children
- Kingergarten: 14 children
Acceptance into MECE is determined without regard to race, color, ethnic origin or
religion. Financial need scholarships are available.
Licensed by Palm Beach County Health Unit. Gold Seal Accredited by the United Methodist
Association of Preschools.
