Celebrate Recovery in Prisons

There is a new opportunity that has come to us in Florida! A few years ago, the State of Florida officially approved CR for our correction facilities. But just recently, the four Florida State Reception Centers have become open to the idea of Celebrate Recovery Inside. This is the CR ministry that actually goes inside our jails & prisons.

Celebration Station is a 52-week complementary children's resource to Celebrate Recovery. So while adults explore topics that bring healing and wholeness, kids discover the same truths in age-appropriate ways!

Volunteers for the Homebound and Family Caregivers

The mission is to promote dignity and independence for clients and families through evaluation, education, information, referral linkages and ongoing support provided by qualified and educated volunteers that fulfill service needs, including, but not limited to, grocery and errand shopping, transportation, friendly visits, telephone reassurance,

Habitat for Humanity

Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat builds simple, decent, affordable homes in partnership with Habitat homeowner (partner) families and volunteers. Habitat homes are sold to partner families at no profit, financed with affordable, zero-interest loans. The homeowner is responsible for the monthly mortgage payment.

D.A.R.T.

Disaster Assistance Relief Team (D.A.R.T.) The team works on houses locally and away to help less fortunate people get their homes rebuilt. It meets once a month and has a work day once a month.

Boca Helping Hands

Boca Helping Hands is a non-profit group of interfaith congregations who have come together to help the hungry and the poor in the Boca Raton area. Boca Helping Hands helps feed the needy in our community through a lunch program and a food pantry, and connecting them with area resources.

FUMC Thrift Shop

The Jennifer Clay Memorial Thrift Shop located on our West Campus is open on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10am to 3pm (except June, July and August when we are open only on Saturdays). We are an outreach to our community and the surrounding communities.

Family Promise

The program of Family Promise brings shelter, meals and support services to families without homes. Up to 14 persons (adults and children) are housed for a week in our West Campus Education Building about every 10 weeks. Volunteers provide hot meals, arrange activities for children, or stay overnight.
