    This couple works in the remote mountainous area of Afghanistan as a part of a team which is reestablishing a community-based health care program for mothers and children.


  • Marilyn Beecher          News from Rev. Beecher!

    As a part of a new District Outreach Ministry team in the Orlando area, Rev. Beecher has a district-wide ministry working with 48 churches. The team’s work is to
    • Support local churches in developing strong outreach ministries and
    • Coordinate ministries in those places where the team can have a greater impact if the members work together.
    The priorities for those common ministries in the District are working with children living in poverty, homeless families, new immigrants, emergency services and the Cuba Covenant.


  • Kim King Torres          News from Ms. Torres!

    Ms. Torres helps direct an after school program, coordinate youth ministries and family ministries, serve as a community advocate, administer a program of English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) in a violence prone area of Florida City, FL.
