Small Group Ministries

FUMC has a great number of small groups with varying interests and themes. Our small group program encompasses all types of hobbies and interests, as well as many different Bible and book studies. For information on groups that might share your same interests, please contact Mary Beth Tate at 561-395-1244 x23.

Girlfriends Unlimited
The group is designed to encourage women to get together in Christian fellowship and have some fun. The group meets in small groups on a monthly basis and then opens up for a big meeting every quarter.

Bridge Group
The Bridge group promotes warm fellowship in a non-serious atmosphere and they share God’s love to all who participate. Bridge fellowship is open to members and non-members regardless of race, gender, or degree of expertise or physical limitations.

Circle of 8
The Circle of 8 mission is to help people become better acquainted with each other and to develop friendships within the church family. This is done through 12px group fellowship in an informal, strictly social environment. Single and married adults are sorted into groups of eight, and each group plans its own monthly activities, taking turns hosting the get-togethers. Members’ names are shuffled and sorted into new groups every four months to promote wider circles of acquaintances and friends.

Men’s Groups
Our church offers several choices of men's fellowship and bible study. A men's group  meets on Saturday mornings on the East Campus. The United Methodist Men meet on the West Campus once a month on the second Monday of the month in the Fellowship Hall.

Circle of Love
This group of women meet monthly in the Fellowship Hall on the West Campus.

Sewing Group
This is a dedicated group who donates many of their sewing projects to various missions and those in need, such as clothing for the Children’s Home. Their handiwork is also displayed throughout the church in many forms such as wall hangings, tree ornaments, and the banners for Easter in the Park.

United Methodist Women

The mission of UMW is to fulfill the "Purpose of United Methodist Women" by creating small groups (circles) that will provide opportunities that promote spiritual growth and fellowship and develop awareness and encourage action and advocacy on behalf of women, children, and youth locally and globally. There are four circles at our church: Naomi Circle, Rachel Circle, Rebekah Circle and Ruth-Hannah Circle.

Adult Bible Studies and Classes
FUMC offers a variety of Bible studies and book studies through the church. We offer studies for men, women and young adults.
