High School Youth Programs
We have a year round active youth program for ages 6th – 12th grade. Each Sunday we meet for a time of fellowship with games, a message, worship, small groups and food. In between our middle and high school programs we serve dinner at no charge to students but if your child has any special food allergy or need please let us know at time of dropping off or send a note. During the school year we meet weekly for our regular program minus holidays and noted days off. We also have retreats and trips a few times during the year.
During the spring we have a confirmation weekend in which any student entering 6th grade or older may be confirmed into the Methodist church. This weekend usually entails going away Friday – Sunday, having teaching sessions during the weekend of what it means to be a member of the United Methodist Church, and a learning experience to visit Holy Land in Orlndo. After the weekend, the students will have an opportunity in church to be confirmed, and baptized if not already, into the United Methodist Church.
During the summer we take a break from our normal youth program to have a time of various activities such as bowling, boomers, movies, baseball games, pool parties, cook-outs and many other fun adventures. Each summer we have the opportunity to go on a mission trip to be used by God to reach out to communities and people in need.
