Have you had surgery lately? Are you, or a loved one or friend, suffering from an illness? Do you, or someone you know, have an addiction to drugs, alcohol, or gambling? These are the types of problems that our Prayer Partners at FUMC care for, to intercede with prayer for God’s help on the behalf of those who are suffering. Our church has three different Prayer Groups who are active.

• The Intercessory Prayer Group. Meets every Monday in the Sanctuary from 8:50am to 9:20am. You make your requests to them by using the Prayer Request form found in the Attendance Pad during services or use our Online Prayer Request Form.
  
  
• The Cancer Prayer Group. All prayer requests for those suffering from cancer are directed to this group. The members of this group call the patients or a family member to check on them and let them know they are being prayed for.
  
  
• The Prayer Chain. This group consists of three CHAINS. Someone from the church office or a member of the congregation calls one of the leaders of a Chain with a request for a more emergency type of problem, i.e. heart attach, stroke, accident victim, etc. The Captain then notifies the other two Captains, and they each call one of their members who then calls the next one in line.
