Ken Roughton

Senior Pastor

Ken was born in Lexington, Kentucky where his father was completing his last year of graduate work at Asbury Theological Seminary. The family moved to Florida when Ken was 9 months old, so he feels like a native.  Following in the footsteps of his parents and grandparents, he went back to Kentucky to attend Asbury College and Asbury Seminary.  Upon graduation he and his wife Sandy moved to Florida where they have served on staff at five different United Methodist churches.  Ken has been the pastor of First UMC Boca Raton for the past 17 years and says he is just getting started!
