Michele Vollaro
Financial Secretary
Michele began working at First United Methodist Church as Financial Secretary in March of 1989. She was born and raised in Flushing, New York. She attended private Catholic schools for 12 years. Following that she attended Hunter College, in Manhattan. After 2 ½ years of dating, she married her husband Jeff and moved to Bayside, New York. Michele’s work history includes working as a volunteer in a nursing home and working for a wholesale/retail women’s clothing company. She was payroll manager and responsible for all of the finances. She was employed by them until her move to Boca Raton, FL.
What is your favorite scripture?:
Joshua 1:9 - “Be not afraid, be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified: do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Knowing that Jesus is with us always us is comforting."
What do you like to do in your spare time?:
In her spare time, Michele enjoys family, travel, and the outdoors.
Who inspires you?:
Her mother was her inspiration. Even though she is not longer here physically, she still inspires her.
